Innovators across Queensland have received news from the Miles Government that $5.5 million in grants will be given to 56 small-to-medium-sized businesses through the Ignite Ideas Fund and Ignite Spark Program.

Now in its 11th funding round, these grants have seen funding in projects such as a mobile app for women facing separation, waste transformation system for mining companies, and UV water sterilisation devices for health facilities.

 

The Ignite Ideas Fund helps SMEs commercialise high-growth products, with 26 businesses sharing $3.3 million whilst the The Ignite Spark Program provides $2.2 million for 30 enterprises to advance their products from prototype to market.
