The Precinct is thrilled to announce a new partnership with She Mentors, a tech platform dedicated to supporting professional women, business leaders, and organisations of all sizes across Australia and New Zealand.
Originally founded as a Melbourne Meetup group in 2017, She Mentors has grown into a thriving online community of over 700+ that empowers women through mentorship, networking, and meaningful conversations.
“It’s wonderful to be part of the startup culture at The Precinct. We share a similar mission to empower women so it feels like a natural partnership,” says founder Ali Adey.
This collaboration aligns with The Precinct’s mission to support women in business, technology, and innovation. She Mentors is a platform for career growth that enables women across diverse industries to connect, learn, and thrive. The Precinct’s Program Manager, Holly Hudson, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, noting its potential to drive real impact for women in the community.
“We’re excited to partner with She Mentors to create more opportunities for women to connect, grow, and lead,” says Holly Hudson, Program Manager at The Precinct. “By combining our resources, we can empower more women to succeed in business, technology, and entrepreneurship, building a stronger community together.”
To celebrate the launch, The Precinct members of She Mentors and The Precinct are invited to a free coworking day on Level 3 of The Precinct, complete with coffee and networking opportunities. Attendees will also have the exclusive chance to observe a Pitch Practice session by 10 early-stage founders from the StartClub_BNE Startup Program ahead of SCB Pitch Night 2.0 on 13th November.
“It’s wonderful to be part of the startup culture at The Precinct. We share a similar mission to empower women, so this feels like a natural partnership,” says Ali Adey.
As part of the collaboration, members of The Precinct will enjoy a 20% discount on She Mentors memberships, gaining instant access to over 700 mentors on the platform. She Mentors members will also benefit from access to The Precinct’s coworking and event spaces.
