Newly located at the heart of Queensland’s bustling innovation hub, The Precinct, the Queensland Indigenous Business Network (QIBN) is ushering in a new era of support for First Nations-owned small businesses.

QIBN, as an independent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation, is dedicated to being a powerful and united voice for Indigenous business owners, creators and entrepreneurs.

With the recent appointment of Donisha Duff OAM as inaugural Chief Executive Officer, QIBN is set to become a driving force in the Indigenous business landscape across Queensland.

Under Ms Duff’s leadership, the organisation aims to drive economic development, foster strategic partnerships, and advocate for critical support and resources essential for the growth of Indigenous entrepreneurs.

Relocating to The Precinct places QIBN at the heart of Queensland’s innovation ecosystem, providing unparalleled access to coworking resources, networking opportunities, events and collaborative possibilities.

“We’re excited to establish QIBN at The Precinct and be part of the dynamic environment here. Our goal is to support a strong, inclusive community of First Nations business owners who can collaborate, partner, and learn from each other,”

“Access to meeting and event spaces will enable us to further connect and support Indigenous businesses to break the barriers to success” Ms Duff said.

“Being part of the broader innovation community here at The Precinct has also been fantastic as we are able to attend relevant business events, and keep up to date with new opportunities and support provided for business owners.”

The Precinct is an initiative of Advance Queensland, supported by the Queensland Government.
